This AI file is part of every character you can download from here, but the ones contained within the characters might be outdated if their last update is earlier than the latest released new character.
If you want all the older characters to recognize the moves from the new ones, download this file, and overwrite the copy in all character’s folders.
The screenpack and lifebar I’m currently using. 640*480 resolution.The screenpack is a completely edited/replaced version of the Touhou 10.5 screenpack (only the character select grid, font and BGM was kept), that supports victory quotes, and has a lot of character slots.The lifebar is the same I always use, but this one is 640*480 compatible.
The same Lifebar for 1280x resolution screenpacks is available as a standalone download.
Character Information
Each character is rated in five gameplay element categories. A higher bar means more emphasis on that gameplay element. You can get a rough idea about how the character fights from this before downloading.
MELEE : The emphasis on using close range attacks.
POWER : The emphasis on using the powerbar, or super moves.
RANGE : The emphasis on using long range attacks. Usually means projectiles or strikers.
TOUGH : The emphasis on keeping yourself alive instead of attacking. Usually means healing moves, shields, barriers, resurrection, damage reduction, moves that boost defense, etc…
CNTRL : The emphasis on limiting the options available to the opponent. Projectiles that stay around for a long time and limit movement, reflecting moves, attacks that can be used during blockstun, attacks that have graze or dodge properties, or startup invincibility.
Note that these are subjective ratings, and they do NOT represent the strength of the character!
